Its in the mail...
My SockPal2za package is going out today; we've all seen the socks before. BUT here is a pic of the card I made to go in the package. Just a tiny scrap of yarn, hot glue, toothpicks and cardstock scrap--TralaLA!
I got the idea from my SIL's MIL (does that make sense?) who makes beautiful cards, writes poetry and even KNITS. She's way cool.
So the package is on its way to Oregon, with a pair of stich markers I made from some fabby earrings (I never wear earrings). Hope my pal likes them.
I am way to proud of this card.
On the knitting front, I am nearly done with Melanie's secret sock pattern--turned the heel last night and I am working down the gussett now. And I am planning for my next sock. Wyvern? Broadripple? Stay tuned.

That card is way cool. Also, I vote Wyvern. Wyvern is Hott.
I like the card too! It gets you out of the 2-D basic card. And my vote is for Wyvern.

I love my socks! They just arrived today, a welcome sight after a not-so-good visit to the vet with my cat. The socks fit perfectly--nice work!--and I absolutely love the colors. Beautiful fall colors. The cables up the sides are a nice touch. I really, truly love them! Thank you! And as everyone here said, the card is very cute and clever. I may steal the idea from you... And I love the cool stitch markers. Thank you!!! I will post a picture on my blog so you can see that the fit is perfect. And yes, the yarn is so lovely. I will look at her site; may have to make a sweater with this stuff. Thank you!! Jen
